Starbucks from HELL...8th grader take over!

 
 I was going into Starbucks to do some reading, and all of SUDDEN...Fifty (no lie) 8th graders from one of the local jr. high schools came rushing in to get some Starbucks, and they were as LOUD and HYPER as could be (they were coming from a science fair).  The look on the Starbucks employees was priceless.

   

This scenario reminded me of when I was a youth pastor of an urban youth ministry in East St. Paul, MN...there were occasions we would go on mission trips (all 60-80 of us or so) and we would stop in at a local McDonald's on the road to get lunch...the look on the McDonald's employees, should we say, was less than cordial.

Ok, the guy in the middle (BIG BLONDE HAIR) is not dressed up in a Halloween costume.  That dude is a Brett Michaels wanna be!  This picture was taken in 1988 (20 years ago), and the guy with the BIG BLONDE HAIR is me.  I was a big Poison fan back in the day...I went from Poison to MC HAMMER (only in the 80's).  Don't ask how long it took me to do my fro.

This sucks!

Broken sunglasses, I've had these pair for 2 stinkin' years.  These were my favorite pair and I put them in my book bag (aka. MAN BAG)...SUCKS!

Balloons (and a cutie).

  

Man, I love balloons.  Most people get GIDDY when they see a bundle of balloons wrapped together. 

Top 5 things I think  of when I see balloons:

• The song by Nena, 99 Luftballons (sorry, I'm a product of the 80's)
• The Red Balloon (I remember seeing this movie in Elementary School).
• Creepy clowns with a balloon (I hate clowns).
• Curious George and his balloons. (One of my all time favorite books).
• Helium sucking (Come on, I know you do it too).

What the...Did she just say, "everywhere, such as..." I try hard to break down my stereotypes of people...so I know this has nothing to do with her being blonde.  Do you own a map?  And can you locate the United States on a map?
